If you are new around here, let me quickly fill you in on some history:
Malezia is a science-based skincare company that got started with Simple Skincare Science — a blog where I (f.c speaking), wrote evidence-based skincare guides…. most notably about malassezia, or “fungal acne” as it’s colloquially known on the interwebs.
The blog was born out of my personal frustration dealing with various skin issues like acne, malassezia folliculitis, seborrheic dermatitis etc. and the lack of helpful information I found on how to treat these conditions. I would cry alone almost every night because of how overwhelmed I felt that I’d never be smart enough to know how to stop my skin problems from spreading. After years of being plagued with these conditions
I dove in and began my skincare research journey. The whole time documenting my findings on the blog - sometimes writing articles that were 50 pages / 13,000 words long!
Long story short, after four years and many trials and tribulations, I along with the awesome community over at Simple Skincare Science, were able to slowly piece together what does and does not work when it came to skincare.
However, despite all our combined efforts there was still a lot left to be desired when it came to what products we wished existed - and with that Malezia sprang into existence!

I promise you that I’ll never give you false information. That I write everything here from the heart and with as much of my knowledge as possible.
I am here to guide you through the limited bad skin days you have left. Together, we’ll kick their ass and help you achieve the radiant, beautiful, plump, healthy skin you’ve always wanted so that you’ll have the courage to explore the world confidently.
